GLAAD has picked trans lobbyist Jennifer Finley Boylan as co-seat of its National Board of Directors. This is the first run through the unmistakable LGBT association has named a transgender individual to rudder its National Board of Directors.
“GLAAD’s responsibility to the trans network is genuine and unflinching,” Boylan said in an announcement. “As transgender individuals keep on upholding for essential lawful securities and acknowledgment, the work that the staff of GLAAD is prompting proactively share accounts of transgender individuals through the media is a distinct advantage.”
“Jenny’s demonstrated authority will be instrumental as GLAAD keeps on developing prevailing press consideration and open comprehension around transgender issues,” said Dave Montez, GLAAD’s acting president, said in an announcement.
